On Resolving Theological Disputes
When I converted to Christianity from atheism, I had to start from scratch. One day, I thought Christianity was nonsense—the next, Jesus Christ was my God. After such a dramatic paradigm shift, practical questions of the most basic nature began quickly to arise: what exactly am I supposed to believe? Where should I go on Sunday? I tried to resolve these questions by seeing how other Christians answered them, but this only exacerbated the issue. They all disagreed with each other.
